I photographed these images in the Financial District, NYC, during Hurricane Sandy, as the dark waters rapidly devoured much of the neighborhood. The photographs of this unprecedented flooding evoke the surreal and dangerous atmosphere that pervaded many parts of the city during the hurricane and its aftermath.
